Mr. Ryan Blaszak

Welcome to Springwater Trail High School!

As the smallest of the 3 public high schools within GBSD, Springwater emphasizes a strong community and powerful connections with teachers and staff. We pride ourselves on engaging with the larger community around us. Below are some of the things that set STHS apart:

• Smaller class sizes and a smaller school atmosphere (less than 200 students across the entire school).
• Springwater’s early college program provides an opportunity for students in grade 11 and 12 to take courses at Mount Hood Community College.
• Community Engagement: volunteering in the community, completing habitat restoration projects in partnership with the State of Oregon and the City of Gresham, and field trips to plays and other fine art experiences.
• We are currently developing a CTE Fine Arts Pathway at STHS. This CTE pathway will be the sole Fine Arts Pathway in the district.
• We continue to have after school support Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Transportation home is provided.

Blaszak earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Lewis and Clark College. He holds a master’s degree in education from Southern Oregon University. He earned his administrative license from Portland State University.
